Fine Art Series Piano Concert with Andrew Haringer

Event Description
Pianist Andrew Haringer, Ph.D., will present “Liszt as Prophet: Religion, Politics, and Artists in 1830s Paris.” Integrating his research and experiences as a pianist, Dr. Haringer focuses on Liszt's early years in Paris, and seeks to show the lasting influence of important artistic, religious, and political mentors that Liszt encountered during this period. Dr. Haringer will perform works by other composers of the early nineteenth century as well. This concert is part of the Fine Arts Series, a collaboration of the Fine Arts Department and the Chapel Art Center.
